Pawel Sysiak is a product designer focused on design systems, AI tools, user research, and improving the way collectives communicate and coordinate.

Overview

I have over ten years experience of helping organizations discover new ways to make change through products that matter.

Experience

At Plume, I redesigned the design system and led design of apps reaching 1B+ devices. I also worked with MoMA Warsaw, Grammarly, and BlackRock, and improved coordination systems with Plurality Institute and AI Objectives Institute.

Spont App. Going on adventures and finding friends.

User research

Design without research is guesswork. I study cognitive biases and run structured research to surface the blind spots between intent and experience. I run research studies at Plume, AI Objectives Institute, and DBZ. See the case study here.

Side projects

I'm always working on a side project or two. Currently, I’m developing my personal wiki, where I try to distill the most impactful knowledge. Previously, I wrote AI Revolution 101, a thirty min essay that reached 160k readers. I also have an extensive background in contemporary art. See my art and all other side projects here.
