Pawel Sysiak is a product designer and builder working across UI/UX design, AI tools, design systems, user research, and strategy.

Overview

Over ten years shipping products, building design systems, crafting interfaces, leading research, writing about AI, and bridging the gap between what's technically possible and what people actually need.

Experience

At Plume, I rebuilt the design system and shaped products reaching 1B+ devices. I've led user research at AI Objectives Institute, designed tools at Grammarly, and BlackRock, built coordination systems with Plurality Institute and collaborated with MoMA Warsaw on art and technology.

User research

Design without research is guesswork. I study cognitive biases and run structured research to surface the blind spots between intention and experience. I run research studies at Plume, AI Objectives Institute, and DBZ. See the case study here.

Side projects

I write, research, and build beyond my product work. My essay AI Revolution 101 reached 160k readers. I maintain a personal wiki where I connect ideas across epistemics, decision-making, and collective intelligence. I have a background in contemporary art, running exhibitions, art directing, and curating digital work. See all my side projects here.
